Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to the questions we hear most from importers, distributors, and project buyers.

What is your minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
For standard catalog models, MOQ starts at 100 units per SKU. For custom or OEM products — including private-label branding, modified wattages, or unique housing designs — MOQ is typically 200–500 units depending on complexity. Sample orders of 1–5 units are available before bulk commitment.
How long does it take to get a quote?
Standard product quotes are typically returned within 1 business day. Custom or OEM quotes that require engineering review may take 2–3 business days. Providing your target quantity, application, and any spec sheets upfront speeds the process significantly.
Do you offer OEM and private-label manufacturing?
Yes. We support full OEM and ODM programs including custom branding, packaging, product labeling, and hardware modifications. Many of our long-term distributor partners sell JXSOL-manufactured products under their own brand. Contact us with your requirements and we'll outline the process and tooling costs if applicable.
What certifications do your products carry?
Our factory holds ISO 9001:2015 certification. Products carry CE, RoHS, and IP65/IP67 ratings as standard. We also comply with IEC 62124 for solar performance testing. Additional certifications such as ETL, UL, or country-specific marks can be arranged for qualifying order volumes — ask your sales contact for details.
What are your standard payment terms?
Standard terms are 30% T/T deposit upon order confirmation, with the 70% balance paid before shipment. For established partners with a track record, we can discuss net terms or L/C arrangements. Sample orders are typically prepaid in full.
What is the typical lead time for bulk orders?
Standard catalog products typically ship within 15–25 business days after deposit confirmation. Custom or OEM orders with tooling or component sourcing may require 30–45 business days. We provide a production schedule and milestone updates for all bulk orders so you can plan logistics accordingly.
Can I request product samples before placing a bulk order?
Yes, and we encourage it. Sample orders of 1–5 units are available for most catalog products. Sample cost covers the unit price plus shipping; for qualified buyers with a confirmed bulk intent, sample fees are often credited against the first production order. Lead time for samples is typically 5–10 business days.
Do you provide technical support after delivery?
Yes. All products ship with installation guides and technical datasheets. Our engineering team is available via email and WhatsApp for post-delivery support including installation questions, troubleshooting, and warranty claims. We also provide photometric files (IES/LDT) and compliance documentation on request.

Inquiry Guidance

What to Include for a Faster, More Useful Reply

The more context you send, the more specific our first reply can be. You don't need all of this — but anything you can share helps us skip the back-and-forth.

Product Category

Street lighting, flood lights, garden lights, wall lights, solar fans, home battery, portable power, etc. Knowing the product family lets us route your inquiry to the right product team immediately.

Order Quantity

Approximate is fine — we can adjust in discussion. Standard MOQ is 100 units for catalog models. Quantity affects pricing tiers, lead time, and whether OEM tooling costs apply.

Target Lumen Output & Color Temperature

If you have a spec or a reference product, send it. Lumen output and CCT directly determine driver selection, panel wattage, and battery sizing — the earlier we have these, the more accurate the first quote.

Installation Market & Climate

Coastal, desert, tropical, and high-latitude sites each have different battery and panel sizing requirements. A project in northern Europe needs a larger panel-to-battery ratio than the same fixture deployed in the Middle East.

Certification Requirements

CE, RoHS, IP rating, IEC 62124, or market-specific compliance needs. Certification scope affects documentation lead time and, in some cases, product configuration. Tell us your target market and we'll confirm what applies.

OEM / ODM Requirements

Custom lumen output, private label packaging, housing modifications, or branded accessories. If you're running an OEM/ODM program, our OEM/ODM solar lighting page covers the engineering review process and what to prepare before the first call.

Delivery Destination & Timeline

Helps us confirm lead time and shipping options upfront. Port of destination, required delivery window, and whether you need DDP, FOB, or CIF terms all affect what we can commit to in the first reply. The earlier we have this, the fewer rounds of clarification before a firm quote.

What Happens Next

After You Send Your Inquiry

Here's what happens next — no automated holding patterns, no generic acknowledgements.

1

We Review Your Details

Our sales team reads every inquiry before replying. If your message includes product type, quantity, and market, we can usually respond with a model recommendation or pricing range in the first reply — not a generic acknowledgement asking you to fill out another form.

2

We Reply Within 1 Business Day

For standard product inquiries. Complex OEM/ODM requests may require a short engineering review before we can give you a useful answer — we'll tell you that upfront rather than send a generic quote that doesn't reflect your actual project requirements.

3

We Ask Follow-Up Questions If Needed

If your project requires specific battery autonomy, solar panel sizing for your latitude, or compliance documentation, we'll ask for those details rather than guess. A question that takes you two minutes to answer saves both sides a week of misaligned quoting.

Working on an OEM/ODM program? Our OEM/ODM solar lighting page covers the engineering review process and what to prepare before the first call — including housing modification scope, private label documentation, and minimum run quantities for custom configurations.
